On a beautiful Saturday this summer we finally made it to the lake to spend the day with Aunt Becky & Uncle Bill on their boat. Grandma came too and we all had the best time. The kids were loving life on the boat.
Uncle Bill let the big kids have a chance to drive the boat and they thought that was the coolest. Tyson was especially into it.
The girls brought Barbies in bathing suits on the boat to swim with them.
We ate lunch on the boat too which made it extra fun for the kids. They thought it was neat to eat on the boat and then jump back in the water for more swimming.
The kids absolutely love swimming but since they had never been in a lake, we weren't sure how they would feel about it. They all jumped in without hesitation and swam like fish, including Violet. It was so fun to swim around with them and watch them giggle as they experienced something new.
Aunt Becky loves to play with the kids and they had a blast blowing water through the noodle in her face. So much laughter.
Tyson is a floating machine.
Uncle Bill must get his power naps.
Violet made it her mission to fetch the noodles when they floated out of reach. She took her job very seriously and would flip out when someone else tried to retrieve a noodle.
No fear in this little one.
A new tradition began that day and sweet, sweet memories were made. Thanks Aunt Becky & Uncle Bill for your hospitality and generosity!
