The day after school was out, we headed to Cumberland for our second annual getaway with the Judd side of the family. The kids refer to this trip as "cousin vacation" and they count down the days long before it comes.
Cousin vacation consists of beautiful weather, a lot of coloring and creating,
cutting (she couldn't believe we let her use scissors on her own),
exploring,
picture taking (of course),
a little Doc McStuffins during breakfast,
relaxing,
bubble blowing,
bubble eating (ugh),
and there was also a hike to see the Falls, swimming, ball playing, reading, a bit of sleeping, eating, and we even got to celebrate a birthday this year on our trip...
because our niece Ellie turned 7.
We are so thankful to have family on both sides that we truly enjoy spending time with. The kids are already talking about next year's cousin vacation.
