The little man's birthday was during the week so he got to open one present before Daddy left for work and had to save the others for that night. He got the game of Guess Who?. He loved it and we played several times that day.
Then he got to dive in to his powdered sugar donut mountain. He was so excited.
We incorporate Legos wherever we can because they make Tyson happy.
I forgot to put his donut on a little plate so it blends in with the table but he did get to blow out a candle before Daddy left too.
He requested his balloons (that he knew would be in the living room when he woke up) to be in the shape of a T.
We had a low key day mostly spent in the backyard. It was a beautiful day so we picked up his requested fried chicken dinner and we all headed to a park that evening.
This is what Legos do for Tyson.
He hugs presents that he is really excited about. Love him.
And his last present was a new Wii game. He had requested this one and was so excited to get it. Part of his birthday fun was that he got to stay up later than the other kids to play Wii with Jason. That was definitely his favorite part of the day.
Avery made him her own little card and put some coins in it as a little present for her brother. She couldn't wait to give it to him and it was so sweet to watch his face as she read it to him.
We all had such a fun night celebrating our little guy and I continue to be in denial about him actually turning six. It just can't be true.
