Oh, our little Mimi. Daddy and I would like to freeze you right now. We've probably said that 100 times already since you were born but we can't get enough of you so I thought I should write down some things to help us remember what you were like at almost three years old...
Sassy. You are extremely hard to discipline because you think that your way is the only way! You don't let anyone mess with you and have put several big kids in their place on the playground over the last few months and we smile (when the parent of the other child is not looking) because that is you (& it's usually well deserved).
Smart. You remember everything and your imagination is amazing. The scenarios you play out with little people are hilarious. You like to tell stories at dinner that keep us all entertained. Your prayers are never the same anymore, they are so genuine and thoughtful. You often want to be the one to "read" books to us instead of the reverse and we love the way you tell the story using the illustrations as you flip through the pages. And one of my very favorites is the way you ask to be pushed "super higher" on the swings.
Fun! You make everyone laugh with the cute way you say things and the way you are always twirling and dancing around. Such a happy little package you are. The way you still say "wellwoh" for yellow is awesome and nobody can even say Cinderella the way you do. You are always dressing up as a princess and will climb trees in a tutu. You are our perfect mix of girly girl and tomboy. You love to accessorize and want bows, ponytails, sunglasses, bracelets, necklaces, etc. on all the time. You have a certain bracelet that was made by Aunt Beth that is your favorite. You also like things to "fit" which means match so you are very particular about what you wear.
Beautiful. God has blessed you with a beautiful face and we sure enjoy looking at it. Daddy always tells you to "tuck your lips in" just being silly with you. Your full lips, beautiful skin, and big blue eyes are captivating. We hope and pray that the beauty of your heart will outshine your physical beauty as you grow into the little lady that God has created you to be.
She is a beauty and she sounds like such a funny sassy little thing!! Yes, I think we need to get our little girls together at some point!!
